Ethereally Pleather

I visited my parents house over the weekend and decided to visit a place I haven't been to in years. There's a massive lake just down the road and there's this path that leads to a tiny wooden bridge and jetty. I used to come here a lot and I remember daydreaming of hiding a diary on the underside of one of the wooden beams of the jetty. I thought it would be cool for someone to find one day and read all the interesting things that was happening to the writer. Of course nothing exciting ever happened to me and I just had an overactive imagination, so no diary was ever written. The place clearly evoked all these romantic notions in my head when I was younger.

So to visit it years later and still having evoked the same feelings really surprised me. I'm not going to say im a pessimist, but i'm definitely more of a realist now than what I was back then. The trees were even prettier this time around. It had an ethereal feel to it especially the way the light was hitting it that afternoon. I was waiting for a white unicorn to bust out the wispy green trees and whisk me away to a magical kingdom.

Anyhoos, I best take my kooky pills now.

Im loving my new pleather shorts that I purchased on ebay for $9.95! And that's including shipping! I've wanted one for so long and im glad I finally have one, though i'm only learning that pleather and summer is not such a great marriage.
