Early Mornings

I love the peacefulness and exclusivity that early mornings provide. Wherever you are, no matter how scenic, there's something amazing about rising early. From that, you would be correct in thinking that I'm a morning person, I just love the mornings so much more. Even on my days off, I feel like it's such a waste of day if I sleep in past 8am.

Early mornings in the city takes me back to when I used to live there, especially around Hyde Park. It's amazing how much you take for granted until you no longer have it. I used to walk through Hyde Park at least twice a day and never gave it much thought half the time. Now, even with the bums and endless seagulls pooping on everything, I find it magical.

The city itself I find amazing, the early morning rays (and less crowds) makes it even more magical.

Blanch

Excuse the horrible quality of the photos, Sydney hasn't given us much sunlight to play with. We've been having flash storms and ridiculous heatwaves due to the storm even though it's meant to be Autumn now.

I'm loving an all white ensemble with a simple contrast of this amazing Mansur Gavriel bag in Camello. It's made out of the most amazing vegetable tanned leather, which is basically untreated leather, so this will patina into something that is uniquely yours and yours alone. It's the perfect no bells and whistles bucket bag.

I wish you all a happy friday and a great weekend to come!

Taking Comfort In Unflattering Whites

Ok, so I have now succumbed to the fact that light coloured pants, especially white jeans is just unflattering on me. I mean especially if they are white boyfriend jeans, at least the blue jeans are a little bit more forgiving, but the white jeans just make me look about 2" tall.

It's all good though cos these jeans are so comfortable. Plus I've been loving my all white ensembles of late. My theory is that the whiter the clothes, the more the heat deflects from you. Whether that's true or not, my mind seems to think so and it stops my brain and my physical self from having a melt down, pun intended.

Capturing the beauty of Sydney's Hyde Park during a beautiful Summer day. Nature wanted to show it's bright colours and I certainly did not want to compete.

Have a lovely Friday!

I Levitate For Peplum

To use the word 'Love' for peplum is an understatement. I know it's been seen everywhere and some may be sick of it, but I just can't get enough. The peplum silhouette gives you instant womanly curves where it may otherwise lack.

Imagine my excitement when I first saw this belt on Blair from Alantic-Pacific on this blog post. It was instant love and I had to have it. She of course wore it better than I ever could, but I've put my own spin to it. Her wardrobe consists more of a girly girl attire, while mine...is well, a mish mash of whatever I felt like that day.

I have a leatherette shift dress that I cannot wait to wear this belt with. However I don't think its limited to be worn with just leather type clothing, the possibilities with this belt are endless!
