Feels Like Spring

It's been a while since I've done blog photos. I just felt un-inspired and felt like it was the same old thing. While this location isn't new and it's still the same old me, today just felt different. There was something in the air, apart from all the bees and I swear one got stuck in my hair!

I'm also too excited about this Willow skirt. I've been lusting over it for so long but I never wanted to bite the bullet and pay the $650 price tag. As much as I loved it, I knew I would never wear it nearly as much to compensate for the price. A few months later, I decided to google the skirt and it showed up on The Real Real for $50USD and it was lo-behold, my size! I put it in the cart and I am offered $25USD off my first purchase AND a further 30% off!!! At this point I am ready to get down on my knees and start wailing with excitement. In the end I paid more for shipping than the actual skirt. It's been my biggest bargain to date!

I've had it for a few months and have been quite self conscious about wearing it, but today I said fuck it! I'll make it work, and even if it doesn't, I'll pretend like I have. The gigantic ducks didn't seem to mind *shrugs* Did you know ducks hiss? Hiss when they're angry?! As per my expression on the very last picture.

Anyhoos, hope to be a lot more inspired in the future. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

FOR SALE: My Whole Life!

Just kidding!

I have been on a de-cluttering my closet (and life!) extravaganza, so below are items I need to let go as I have not even touched, worn or knew of their existence in the past few months.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any question. Email - pancakes2481@gmail.com or comment below.

Michael Kors Mini Selma Neon Yellow

Purchased directly from the Michael Kors website as this colour was never available in Australia. I still have all the original packaging that the bag was sent in, as in plastic and stuffing paper, see picture #1. The leather is still in amazing condition and hardly worn. I take very good care of my bags and belongings in general. There is however a slight colour transfer on the back of the bag but is hardly noticeable at all, but worth mentioning, see last picture. This is just due to wear and unavoidable with a lighter bag.

Asking price is $360 + $24 shipping within Australia.
International shipping, please email me for a quote.
Payment must be made with Paypal or Direct Bank Deposit.

Isabel Marant Bekket in Black Size 36

Purchased pre-owned on eBay over a year ago so there is no box or dustbag. I am obviously the 2nd owner but I haven't worn this as much as I thought I would. I kept trying to make it suit me, but I've finally come to realisation that this just does not suit my short legs =( It's in excellent condition, the only thing is the colour transfer on the inside of the shoe, which is unavoidable with wear especially with dark jeans. This pair still retails in stores today for $700+, but I think this style has been renamed a few times every season.

Asking price is $500 + $30 shipping within Australia.
International shipping, please email me for a quote.
Payment must be made with Paypal or Direct Bank Deposit.

Isabel Marant Bobby in Gris (Grey/Beige) Size 36

Purchased brand new on Matches.com close to 2 years ago. I still have the original box and dustbags, but please specify if you wish to have the box as I'd need to quote a different shipping price with the box. Excellent condition, well taken care of. This style and colour still retails for $700+ in stores.
Asking price is $500 + $30 shipping within Australia.
International shipping, please email me for a quote.
Payment must be made with Paypal or Direct Bank Deposit.

Isabel Marant Bayley in Lilas Size 36

Purchased brand new on Les Apartement De Juju. Only worn a few times and is still in excellent condition. This is a hard colour to come by, comes with 2 dustbags. Please specify if you want the original box as I need to quote a different shipping price.

Asking price is $500 + $30 shipping within Australia.
International shipping, please email me for a quote.
Payment must be made with Paypal or Direct Bank Deposit.

Balenciaga Suede City in Burgundy

Sadly selling this, but it needs to be used and go to a better home where it will be loved. In excellent condition. I have waterproofed this 3 times, once before using it and twice since then. I highly recommend waterproofing this at least once a year. This is obviously a used bag so it is not brand new. Handles show the most wear.

Asking price is $1600 + $30 shipping within Australia.
International shipping, please email me for a quote.
Payment must be made with Paypal or Direct Bank Deposit.

***SOLD*** Alexander Wang Diego Bag ***SOLD***

I love this bag, but it needs to move on to a loving home where it will be used. It's in excellent condition with minor wear. There is some white patches on the inside zippered lining as per 3rd picture. This bag still retails for $875+ in stores.

Asking price is ***SOLD*** shipping within Australia.
International shipping, please email me for a quote.
Payment must be made with Paypal or Direct Bank Deposit.

Celine Trio (Small) Lipstick Red

This also needs a loving home. It's pre-owned but in excellent coniditon. This has been well taken care of so there are no tears or issues with the leather, only minor wear. Purchased on eBay nearly a year ago, comes with dustbag and care cards.

Asking price is $900 + $24 shipping within Australia.
International shipping, please email me for a quote.
Payment must be made with Paypal or Direct Bank Deposit.

White + Red + Stripes

I've mentioned before that I will essentially be living in white for the warmer months. What better way to repel the deathly stinging rays of the Australian summer than white. The past few months now I have been collecting a lot of white tops, looking back at them I notice a theme, they're all soft and billowy and have some sort of crochet or lace on them. I guess I'm going to look a lot like a hippy pharmacist, I'm down with that!

This dress was born from a culmination of frustration and bad luck. I found a similar dress at Zara, after walking away from it and telling myself I didn't need it, I eventually went back to try and get it.  However the material was so thin that there was a hole or a pull on every single one of them and I ain't parting with my hard earned moulah for that, ok maybe not hard earned, just earned!

I searched the interweb and practically every website known to a crazy online shopper and found nothing that I loved in my price range. So I trekked it to my local Korean fabric shop, bought this white material for $4 per metre and sat down and finally used my brain to create a pattern. There was definitely some trial and error as I went. Luckily, I perceive myself to be wider than I am so there was a lot of room to make mistakes and just take them in towards the end. Pretty chuffed about the end result!

Plus how amazingly cute are these Soludos striped espadrilles, I can't get enough of them! I love the whimsy of being able to tie a bow at the back plus they are super comfy!

Hope you all had a great Sunday! xxx
