Limoncello

Every time I wear this jumper it reminds me of what Limoncello would look like, the Italian Lemon Liqueur. I've never actually had it myself, but name itself brings up this vibrant neon yellow/green colour in my head.

Decided to keep it simple with basic colours. I tend to love pairing neons and pop of colours with white. White keeps it fresh and crisp and what better way to pair it that with a skort that everyone and their grandmother seems to own. Though mine is not Zara, unfortunately Australian Zara is not that great, we are late with what we get IF we get it at all. We're not toothless hillbillies, not that there would be anything wrong with that, but I just wish we would get what the rest of the world would get at the same time so we're not all salivating over all these cool Zara gear when stalking our fave fashionista on Instagram. End rant.

I hope the super long weekend is kind and fun to every other Aussies, except WA. They seem to not care or want to celebrate the Queen's Birthday.

Toodles!

May Recap

Winter Cozies

Do you ever have those days or weeks where you just look into your wardrobe and feel like there is nothing to wear? Nothing inspires you and nothing gets you excited? I am having one of those, and it's been 2 weeks and counting. It might have something to do with the fact that I'm really trying to cut down on buying anything. I know that I've always blabbed on about how no matter how boring your clothes are, you can resuscitate it by accessorizing. Don't get me wrong, that way of thinking, for me anyway, is never going to leave me. I 100% believe that. But in my current rut, even my accessories are looking dull and old.  My everyday go to pieces are starting to bore me. Maybe it's just the shopaholic in me, I haven't had that new item smell to get excited about.

I also started to get sick yesterday and at the worst timing too! The above outfit is a previous outfit I haven't had a chance to put up. In my state of malaise, I found it and felt it suited my mood today. This is a mens chunky knit jumper and I fell in-love with how big it is, it's nearly swallowing me, but it's the most comfiest thing ever. For dreary days, it sometimes doesn't hurt to mirror the weather or your personal mood.

Seaside Stripes

In order to get this shot......
One must get in compromising positions.
Some sort of happy dance!

Over the weekend was officially the start of Winter. It was dreary, gloomy and rainy. Why does the crappy weather happen on weekends when people plan to partake in activities and want to enjoy the outdoors while they can? It's just the luck of the draw.

Today though, was one of those glorious sunny Winter days. Apart from the chilly wind when you stand in the shade, you otherwise won't be able to tell that we're 3 days into Winter. We decided to take advantage of the day and the amazing waterside views of Drummoyne. Nothing like a frolic in the sun and about 2kgs of sushi in your belly to make a great day even more perfect.

Happy Monday!
