Sundaze

This was a sunny Sunday spent at a local Botanic Garden, it was a perfect way to unwind for the coming week. Even though it was a horrendously chilly windy day, it was still nice to be out in the sun.

It's also nice to be able to walk around and not get really hot and sweaty and I am super excited that the cooler months are finally upon us. I might be the only one, but I love Winter!

Being able to wear sweaters and jeans and it's really the only time where it's comfortable to wear my Isabel Marant sneakers. It's a pretty narcissistic reason to like the cooler weather, but I'm not going to sugar coat it.

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Walk In The Park

Ok so this isn't technically a Park, it's a Botanic Garden, I love it nonetheless. It's just so peaceful and scenic, plus you always manage to make friends with lizards and spiders or whatever insects or creature that either end up in your mouth while you're talking or getting tangled in your frizzy hair. No? You've never had a poor fly get tangled in your hair? Must just be me then, I really should look into getting all my split ends cut off.

I thought a nice white and basic outfit was appropriate for this adventure, until you realize that no clothing is what's more appropriate in the ridiculous summers that Australia offers. But seeing as being naked in public is probably a felony then naked is not an option. Keeping it in simple light basics that deflect the sun is the next best thing.

Cowabunga!

This Ninja Turtles jumper last seen here is honestly one of my favourite purchases from the U.S. Strange thing is, I try not wear it as much as I don't want to ruin it or wear it down. I am odd like that.

Our winter weather has been ridiculous! In the shade, theres a slight chill, but as soon as you're in the sun, it gets bloody hot! But I am not complaining, I am loving the warmer sunny winters. Excuse the blinding white legs, I need a serious tan!

Enjoy your weekend folks!

Winter Blues & Khaki

Winter is in full force. Over the weekend severe storms were forecasted for the whole week. Bummer! However as I type this sunlight is beaming through the shutters, so I guess the weather forecast is once again wrong.

This outfit was from a few days ago trying to run errands. Lucky it didn't rain the whole time I was out and about, thank you rain gods! I however had to lug an umbrella around just incase. When I take an umbrella, its not those little foldable ones that can fit in your handbag, I want an umbrella that at least covers me, so I take the huge ones and they are a pain to lug around.

Let's hope this sunlight continues, the unrelentless rain has been depressing me.

Neon Splice

Nothing like a bright jumper to brighten up and lift your mood. This Forever 21 jumper is by far my most favourite one so far, I had to get it in another colour before I left the U.S.

These cool new flats are another eBay gem. I picked them up for less than $12 and they have a leopard section at the back which drew me to them in the first place.

Autumn Leaves

Pink Magnolias
I'm so proud of the flowers in my garden that I have not yet managed to kill
Miss Suede soaking up the sun
A sasquatch/bigfoot sighting perhaps?

There's nothing I love more than a sunny sunday spent at the park. There was not a cloud in the sky, it wasn't too hot or too cold, it was just perfect and relaxing.

Autumn is probably my favourite season. My garden blooms and it's just the perfect temperature most of the time. I'm so happy its finally sweater season. I have a feeling this will be my cooler months uniform, a pop of colour knit, jeans and Izzy's. I certainly won't complain!

I hope everyone had a relaxing weekend!
