Winter's Beach

In Australia, we are pretty blessed with the best weather. This is how the beach looks the day before Winter officially starts. Yes, I am rugged up, but even on cold windy days, the beach is pretty amazing.

I grew up down the South Coast of Sydney and basically all my life, I lived a good 5 minutes drive from any beach and now it's about an hour trek to even get close to one, so I really miss this.

I was visiting family further down south and they honestly have the best life. I have always loved the hustle and bustle of the city, but lately, I've started to wonder how serene it would be to live in a small quiet town with the ocean at your front door. It kills me everytime I visit and they tell me how they've just spotted whales earlier that morning, something I have always wanted to see!

Weekend Wear

Whatever you do for a living, whether you have a uniform or not, you always need to adhere to the dress guidelines, or at least dress to reflect whatever it is you do. So there's something liberating about your days off where you can just be, it's where you can really express yourself.

I'd like to say I'm a mood dresser, but unfortunately, laziness always wins out. I'm surprised I even bother to brush my hair, so comfort is where it's at and this is a prime example. I could very easily live in these!

Enjoy your weekend!

Exploring

The one thing The Boy and I love to do is explore, his love for maps fuels these adventures. Don't get me wrong, we're not outdoorsy in a way where we rock climb or scale things, no, not that kind of adventures. First of all I have the upper body strength of a 2 year old and not exactly the fittest person, so "exploring" new areas around the city is what we love to do.

A few weeks ago, we did just that. We'd never been around this area of the city before, but we've always seen it along the way when we're on a Ferry. Ferry rides are one of my favourite things to do. Even though I've been on them a few times, the novelty will never wear away, the views are just amazing!

It's now Spring in Sydney and I think it's going to be a beautiful one! It just goes to show you don't need to get on a plane and go to a different country to discover something new.

Enjoy the weekend and explore a place you've never been to.
