Spring Has Sprung!

Just a nod to the first day of Spring and oh boy I think it's going to be an extremely warm Spring and a blistering hot Summer.

I'm already cowering in fear, even though I love the bright sun shiny days, I despise the heat. The heat brings with it uncomfortable sweatiness and frizzy hair and that combo makes a cranky me.

But the trooper that I am, I'm looking on the bright side, literally! I'm imagining all the bright fluoro colours and bold prints for the warmer months to come. Though the cooler months hasn't really stopped me wearing those combos.

I've been loving all the dungarees/overalls I'm seeing at the moment. There are some really fun ones out there and I think after this one, I'm planning on getting my hands on a few more pairs. My Spring/Summer is going to be filled with these! Afterall, if I loved them at 13, I don't see why I can't love them again at 31. I know, I know, a lady should never reveal her age, but let's face it, I'm not even close to being lady-like.

Though when I first got these, I did a very rare thing where I asked The Boy what he thought of them and his response was somewhere along the lines of, "Are you becoming a Mario Bros?"

Once again, if I loved the Mario Bros at 13........well you get the point.

Whether I look like I'm auditioning to become the 3rd Mario Bros or a Chippy (Australian slang for Carpenter), I still like them and I will try to rock 'em!....(again!)

I have recently jumped on the relaxed-pants bandwagon. Due to my vertically challenged frame, I always thought relax fitted pants would look like pyjammas on me, they probably do, but just humour me.

I am especially loving all the printed ones I'm currently seeing at the moment. They not only come in amazing graphic prints, but also fun colours. However, one can never go wrong with black white. Take these French Connection ones I'm wearing, they are so versatile, you can dress them down with flats or sandals, or take them to night with heels. The fabric is also quite light and I can definitely see them being worn during the warmer months.

But because I love a good clashing print, I just couldn't stay away from wearing them with this Sass & Bide chevron harness.

Just a nod to finally finding a pair of black Isabel Marant Bekket. I honestly need to stop at this third pair. To be fair, I've been trying to hunt this pair in black for a while. Thank goodness I am not really drawn or excited about all the newer styles. I'm not saying I'd say no to any of them or that they are awful, it's just that most of them are a re-worked style to what I already own and I am pretty much happy with my little family of trois'!
